The Wings are looking to add a couple players to improve there lineup.
Top prospect and RFA Ilya Bryzgalov who has refused to renegotiate on his expired 2.4/mil per season contract remains the Wings top priority. Bryzgalov has made it quite clear he does not want to play in Detroit. He is currently the Anaheim Ducks top prospect in the nhl and all indications point to him being Gigures backup in the up coming season. I would be looking for another top prospect in return or perhaps a depth forward that could crack the teams third/fourth line. Could also package Ilya up with another player in a 2 for 1 type deal.
Also in the hopes of clearing some salary room Mark Recchi is available. He receives a fair amount of coin but his 78 points last season proves he is well worth it. Could help a team looking for a first line scorer that has some cap room to play with.
Although not actively looking to move Peter Nedved his salary remains a concern on the money troubled Wings. Peter potted 46 goals last season and was top 5 in scoring. I value him alot higher than Recchi so I would need a better return. The player in return would have to be a player I consider to be a top line forward. Picks and prospects would not interest me for Nedved.
Darcy Tucker who can play all three forward positions could be had as well. Would be looking for a forward with the same type of ratings that does not play for the nhl Leafs
