Preds make it three in a row with a hat trick from Jimmy Hayes against the hated Blue Jackets! Don't look now, but we are 1 point out of 8th and have three games in hand. If we can actually play some defence we just might sneak into that last spot.
Tried to start Bryz in this one to rest up Quick as well as rest up the top guys. Not sure if my lines made in it. Quick was lit up, and the top line struggled.
All in all very happy to be sitting on top the East heading into Christmas.
D was fatigued so I had to play McDonaugh sparingly and he still managed to have a good game. Hopefully can get some rest in the coming days and get the top 6 D back to playing the regular minutes.
Dammit, I had a great post about this SO loss. I woulda bet my kids on the fact I posted it before leaving for Christmas in PEI. Now I can only hope it's saved as a draft at home.
