I've purposely posted this earlier as it is a 10am (MST) start. Wanted to give some fair notice in case you want to tune in from work.

Fun Fact: Ortio has won 12 of his last 14 starts.
If there was ever a time for a picture of Ortio wearing a robot Halloween costume to pop up on the internet, it would be now.

Apologies if I missed the update, but what happened to Knight? Hopefully he isn't out long term.

Knight broke his thumb while he was up with the Flames but he could still play. When he returned to Adirondack, he jammed it in the first or second game back and caused more damage to the point he's unable to play right now.
He has been practicing with the team in a no-contact jersey and I believe travelling with them, so it doesn't sound very serious. Probably a matter or being able to hold a stick comfortably.

Puck has dropped!
Very loud crowd of kids. They had some fireworks so they are all pretty excited.

Flames getting a delayed penalty on a play behind the play.
Looks like hooking for Tousignant.

And the Flames getting called for a questionable delay of game call.
Sieloff goes off.
Wolves with a 30 second 5 on 3.

Some pushing and shoving after a whistle has the kids cheering very loudly.
I think the kids want a fight.

Not a ton going on in either zone early on. I think Chicago has about 5 shots to Adirondack's 3. No really good chances.
Wolves seem to want to shoot to Orts glove side...good luck with that.

Wolves starting to throw a little more on Ortio. Everything is being shot at his knees or below.
Ortio easily making saves, no rebounds.

Flames being heavily outshot now. 11-4 Wolves.
Again, nothing too dangerous, but they are being allowed to shoot at will on net early on.

Poirier and Baertschi with a little passing play to set up Ramage, but the save is made.
Ramage with a shot looking for Poirer, but he misses the pass.
