Promote Wotherspoon, Engelland is a liability every time he is on the ice.

With regards to goaltending, my guess is Hiller starts in Buffalo and then Ramo in Pittsburgh. Those games will determine who plays next.

Good write up Bingo. I do think we tend to over pass, trying to get a little too cute. Overall a solid effort, and I love the idea of rolling 4 lines. Ferland was very good, I thought. Perhaps Colbourne goes in for Byron in Pitt? Love the guy, but someone needs to sit, and I think it could be him.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Totally agree. Engelland needs to be pushed to the #7 spot. Diaz can be waived. I don't even want Diaz in the AHL because they have something like 10 defenseman down there now. I'm not sure what to do with him. If Potter was healthy to start the season I doubt Diaz would have been signed.

yeah Raymond looked rough, give Hartley credit for cutting his ice back and promoting Ferland in the third period.

This youth vs vet thing is going to get very interesting unless there are more injuries.

Agreed on Smid being a 6 and calling up Wotherspoon to be the 5. There were a few cp users predicting Engelland would be the next whipping boy around here. Looks like they were right, he seems so slow and not good at passing. (Still better than butler though)

I have that opinion as well. Waive Diaz, recall Wotherspoon, Engelland can keep McGrattan company in the pressbox unless someone gets injured.

CP's had a pretty good record so far predicting the team transactions this year in terms of waiver wire and assignments (I think we've all been on the money ever since Sven first got recalled), and I think we'll have this one too.
