Jets trail the Ducks 3-2 midway through the game. And referee error in our favour on this one. The Ducks scored on a 5 on 3 only to have it waived off on a phantom goalie interference call. Kesler still gave them the lead on the 4 on 3.

Other games that matter tonight: Vancouver against the really useless Ottawa Senators, and the no-lose scenario of either Edmonton losing or San Jose losing. Pray to the hockey gods that it is only a two-point game.

I have resigned myself to the fact that the Ducks are going to win the division. So when they are playing teams that are trailing us, like the Jets, I am rooting for the Ducks (as distasteful as it is).

Obviously, anyone playing the Nucks is my team.

Would love to see an Oiler win today. #progress #visuallygood

I'm the opposite, myself. I believe the Jets are as likely to collapse as others believe the Flames are - especially since they get to play Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville and Minnesota a lot more than we do. I'd rather Winnipeg wins today.

Whelp, that's it for the Jets. Kane gets kicked out of the game for boarding.

Trust me... Kane being off doesn't hurt us.

Ducks score on their first shot in OT, 53 seconds.

Jets controlled the first 50 seconds though with a few good chances.

Palmieri from a horrible angle goes crossbar and in, great shot though... but you can't give him that one.

Jets only get one point. Cmon Ducks, you could've at least won in regulation for us.

I'm a massive Kane fan, but the sooner Winnipeg bins him, the better off they'll be.

It is 2-0 Canucks at the end of the first period. Vrbata has a goal and an assist.

Detroit won 3-1.

The Canucks made it 3-0 five minutes into the second period and then they collapsed. The Senators have come back to tie the game 3-3 as they tied it with a minute to go in the middle period.

That period was awesome. Hopefully there's more of the same in the third.

No lose situation for me tonight. If the Sharks lose, good for us in our play off bid. If the Sharks win, its 12 in a row for Edmonton. Leaning towards an Oilers win, or as I prefer to view it, a Sharks loss.
