Big game from Quick as we came out on the right side of a tight game. Patty Kane and Duncan Keith led the way with a goal and an assist each. Game went right down to the wire where Keith sealed the deal with an empty netter with under a minute left to play to secure a 3-1 win.
There were 3 fights in this game and there won't be any time for the teams to cool down as the rematch happens tomorrow.
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but......big game from Mighty Mike Smith and Jamie Benn. Canucks knock off the BJ's 2-1. Smith stopped 31 of 32 shots and Benn scored his 12. Ekman-Larsson added a goal and an assist to take the game's #1 star.
Sabres pick up another much needed 2 points, to give themselves just a tiny bit of breathing room in the conference, however again they need a shootout to do so and its affecting the legs and health of several roster players
