Or, they might recall Wotherspoon (or Potter) after 3:00pm MT and don't want to put Russell on the IR in case he's good to go tomorrow, but also want someone in Calgary for the game if Russell isn't ready.
IIRC, a player is considered on the NHL roster for a day if they are on at 5:00pm ET.

I'd be concerned if he was 25 or 26, but seeing that he's only 22 I'm not overly concerned.....yet.

He'd be a great one to package in a deal.

I hope this move is not about Jones coming off of IR but Colborne. Would love to see him back in the line up.

I think Reinhart would be a solid bottom 6 center on a team that could use a center. For the Flames, I think we have too many centers over Reinhart. It's no knock on him, he just happens to be a part of a team that doesn't necessarily need him.

That would have to a major development for Colborne.
Treliving said yesterday Flames won't have timeline on the return for Colborne, Raymond, or Stajan until next week.

I thought he looked better last year, he was more assertive in making plays and better along the boards. Not sure what has happened.
Only 22 and basically a PPG in the AHL last year, so still some promise there.

Max is a good prospect to throw into a trade. He's a good player, but we have too many people better at C, and too many people more skilled on the wings. He was an excellent first pick for us in that draft, but I don't expect to see him in a flaming C for the long haul.
