Default 2014 CFL Regular Season Thread

The season kicks off tomorrow so it is time to get us a regular season thread! Ottawa is in and hopefully they find some success in order to start building a fan base.

I think the Stamps will have a roller coaster season due to their QB situation but still wins the west (regular season) due to the depth of their team. Toronto probably wins the east.

I'm saying BC vs Toronto in the Grey Cup this season. Calgary can't find that late season push to get them through the playoffs and the Riders took a beating on their depth this off season and if they get a couple injuries they could have trouble.

Long live the CFL #thisisourgame

Good thing BC traded for Glenn:

“@CFL: THIS JUST IN: @BCLions place @TravisLulay on 6-game injured list. #CFLKickoff”

Good for BC, bad for Calgary. I would have been more than happy to watch KG hold a clipboard in Ottawa...

Winnipeg over Toronto -- statement game? Or a team playing hard for the new head coach? Will be hard to carry that through the whole season, especially for a team without a ton of depth, but Willy could be the guy they've been waiting for at QB.

Have a feeling Eskimos keep it close tonight and squeak out a win. 8 pt underdogs too.

I didn't expect Winnipeg to look as good as they did, especially their O line and defence in general. And I certainly didn't expect Montreal to do a total no show today. Great showing by the west so far. Very impressive.

Eskimos with a nice W. They're going to surprise some people this year. Solid team.

Hamilton is no much for the Priders. Ticats offense is pathetic and it's just like watching the Alouettes yesterday. It is looking like the Eastern team won't be much of a problem to the Western team this season. Ottawa might end up being #1 in the East at the end of the season. If that happens, it is going to be a repeat of last season's Grey Cup... Western team will win it again and it is going to be lopsided.

Ottawa should be #1 in the east after week 1 by default. Yikes the east is bad.

Much like yesterday's Stampeders game it is tough to say how good the Riders are actually playing. Hamilton is brutal today. Austin didn't have them close to prepared

Somethings never change, lol.

Bad start for Hamilton after making it to the Grey Cup last year.

Strange thing to notice, but the namebar font for the Redblacks is the same as the Flames.

Entertaining game. Ottawa looking good for a new team. Bombers aren't a circus it seems.
