Its been a LONG time since I watched the Flames dominate like they did....brings a smile to my face, especially against the Habs.

What a game by Brodie. Best game by a Flames D-man since Giordano dominated Dustin Brown and the La Kings December 17, 2009.

I waited for 279 games for Bouwmeester as a Flame to have the kind of game that Brodie had last night.

Kris got auto-corrected to Chris. Great write-up.

Why was Diaz in and Engelland out?

I believe Hartley said something that he wanted to reward Diaz by having him play against his former team. Said that Engelland being out had nothing to do his his play as of late, just the numbers game.

After that performance, I'm sure Engelland will be back in next game..

Was he that bad? Didn't think Diaz had a terrible game.

No one had a horrible game, but he looked a bit shaky and ate the puck a few times. Considering he was inserted to move the puck better than Engelland, and considering Engelland's other uses, I'd bet on Engelland being back.

That's one of the reasons these players love playing for Hartley - while demanding, he is also aware of some of the softer issues - like letting Diaz play in front of his former fanbase -that shows he has real respect for and understanding of his guys.

Yeah wasn't that bad (at least no giveaways!) but he didn't really have many good nice passes out of the zone which he needs to do to stay I think.

I like Bob Hartley.
