Is this guy going to take it to the next level or what?

A lot of over thrown balls tonight, and a couple of interceptions.

He didnt look confident at all.

He made some great plays but he should have put more points on the board then he did.

Thoughts?

He put up over 300 yards passing, was dealing with some tough field position a lot of the night, and got the W - that's a-ok in my books.

He made a lot of great plays when they mattered - when scrambling to find Brett Ralph deep on the sidelines was huge! (although the INT the next play sucked). He's a guy that likes to go deep and those do get overthrown - but he's better than he was earlier in the season, and is finding receivers that make plays. He's doing fine.

I agree Hank is doing fine right now. He put up 29 points with Reynolds injured for most of the game by the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Sometimes its not the stats, but the points you put up, and for that Hank managed the offense just fine. Ever since the Sask Game, he has put up 40+, 27, 29 (in 3), vs. Some pretty decent Defenses (BC's is much better than last season).

I'd still like to see the Real Jason Gesser with a REAL O-Line in there next time. Hopefully these guys wont drop like flies next time.

Burris either plays awesome or terrible. There seems to be very little in between with the guy - although tonite's performance would be 'tweener for him (although I thought he played good tonite). He's shown to be very inconsistent in the past. He'll win you more games than you lose cuz he is a good QB - you just have to deal with his games where he looks like a high school QB. Maybe he can break out of those slumping tendencies...I don't know...

Another thing to consider is when you're playing a weaker team, sometimes the urgency isn't there and have a tendency to let up a little. Could lead to a few off throws...

Ridiculous start time didnt help. Gotta love playing with that sun right in your face.

The biggest problem I had with the game was that the Stamps D just quit late in the fourth quarter. The score greatly flattered Winnipeg.

I'd like to see this team do something against more than the dregs of the league.

Just saw the video of Copeland's TD...wonder if he headed to Ranchman's tonight with that ultra smooth line dancing.
