Blagh.. Flames weren't in it tonight. Hiller didn't have his best game and it seemed all of our mistakes ended up in the back of the net. Still, Flames were probably a little gassed after another long road trip, so it'd be good to get back home.

Meh. There will be games like this. All we can hope for is the effort to be there, and it was but the Flames looked pretty lifeless in the third and some of the second. Seto sucks, Engelland sucks. I want them out.

The whole team looked out of sync. Barely any offensive pressure, bad passing, and Hiller let in some uncharacteristic goals.

Reset and get ready for the big homestand.

Not a great effort obviously. Successful road trip nonetheless! Back home now for a few games, so let's see how they respond after losing a tough one tonight.

C'est la vie.

Was still a winning road record 3-2.

Now focus on a winning homestand!

3-2 on the road is good enough for me, you ask me before the trip if we could end up with that record I would have been all over it. Continue to play well and home, stay .500 on the road and you'll be just fine.

2nd period was actually pretty good to watch, both teams showing some skill, just too bad Carolina was able to convert its chances but Calgary couldn't. Carolina's 4th goal really took all the wind out of Calgary's sails, couldn't even connect 2 passes together after that.

That was a pretty bad effort... The team looked out of sync all night long and turned the puck over way to many times.

All in all though, another winning road trip going 3-2 all while missing Backlund, Raymond, Colborne and Stajan in terms of regulars. They need to take the positives out of the trip and be ready to go on Thursday.

Terrible game. Not one player gets passing marks. Take it on the chin, learn and move on

We need to be better at home. But maybe my expectations are too high

I thought the Flames played pretty hard. Not disappointed in the effort. No puck luck in this one, mediocre goaltending, and troubles executing were the Flames problems. That, and Carolina played really well. No bigee. Successful roadtrip.

Flames . . . coming back down to earth? Looked inferior against TB, shaky against Florida, and not good against Carolina. I hope not, but there's no way we can sustain a contender-pace all season.
