Hello,
I'm a civil engineer and I'm very good in listening and writing English but my English accent sucks . I would like to know from your experience how to improve my accent through tutorials and classes. Any training center in Calgary you are aware of it?
As for pronunciation, always emphasize the T's at the end of words, and sometimes emphasize the second half of a compound word... WeekEnd
I say, you sound English already, mate! Cheerio!
Combining the words helps as well, minging wanker is a classic, liberal use of the 'c' word followed by a suprised look when every women within earshot becomes horrifically offended is quite usefull for passing yourself off, entertaining phrases such as 'I feel rougher than a badger's arse' add to the illusion.

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking Kuchow wants to speak English clearer, with LESS of his original native language accent, as opposed to sounding like a Brit!??

I think you're wrong.

Driving with my English friend one day, and a bottle picker almost got hit by a car. What I hear out of the passenger seat: "F-in hell! That tramp nearly got motored!!"

You will pass the test when somebody gives you directions to take ‘Shaganappi Trail’.
The correct answer is to first mistrust them and tell them to sod off.

Yes, correct. I want to speak clearer so people understand me without asking me to repeat. I want to be easily understandable not sounding like a Brit! Even a little accent reduction will be helpful.
