Calgary man in wheelchair stabbed in back

A man in a wheelchair showed up to a Calgary hospital Thursday night with a knife stuck in his back.
It was one of several violent attacks in the city overnight that kept police busy overnight as officers were also called to investigate an incident in which a man was shot in the face, and a stabbing that also landed a man in hospital.
Acting Det. Jack Russell said police were first notified at around 8:30 p.m. that a man had shown up to a hospital with a stab wound.
The knife “went through his wheelchair and was still embedded in his back,” Russell said, adding the patient was in stable condition.
“He was also stabbed last month,” Russell said, though he could not provide further details.

Who would stab a man in a wheelchair? The fact he isn't cooperating probably means he is not completely innocent.
