Haven't heard how he is.
Quote:
Columbus left wing Nick Foligno was seriously injured with 11:34 left in third period and taken off on a stretcher with a neck brace. Carter checked him along the boards in front of the Kings' bench and Foligno's head rammed into the elbow of linesman Shane Heyer, who had jumped on top of the dasher in an attempt to avoid both players.

Good game between the Senators and Blackhawks, it is 1-1 in the second period. Toews scored 21 seconds into the middle period and Michalek tied it later on with a shorthanded goal. The unique thing about this game is that both starting goalies were born and raised in suburban Chicago. It is nice having three feeds to this game.

That is good to hear and he gave a thumbs up to the crowd. Here is the Blue Jackets commentary on the incident from NHL.com http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=7...d=nhl:topheads

Brent Burns gives the Sharks a 1-0 lead.
Seabrook with a power play goal, 2-1 Chicago.

Upper body injury. Left the game during the second and didn't return.

So, I think it's safe to assume he has lost the use of his left arm.

Judging from the penalty summary there was a huge brawl in tonight's Anaheim-San Jose game.

How does Trotz not call a timeout? Horrible coaching call there.

Shakes and ducks rack up 150pims and John Scott does what john Scott does - leaves the bench to join a fight. Glad to see a rivalry start off like this early in the season.

Apparently Scott came on the ice during a line change and didn't leave the bench early, miscall from the refs.

On the Sens/'Hawks game...Two Chicagoland boys in net...Scott Darling did enough to earn his first NHL win, 2-1 'Hawks...Anderson was stellar, but, the Sens spent almost the whole game bottled up in their own D zone...For the 'Hawks, I did not like the Rundblad/TVR 3rd D pairing, too big a load on the other pairs, as they didn't get much ice time in the close game...

Not really. The rule specifically mentions that coming onto the ice for a regular line change is okay - so long as the player does not get involved in an altercation. Bee-lining it to a fight was always going to get him tossed. But it will probably save him from the automatic 10 game suspension. Though he may get some fewer games. Bissonnette got three games last year for a similar action.
