What an unbelievable play by Datsyuk. 3-3 with 40 seconds remaining after trailing 3-1 with 2 minutes remaining.

Blake Comeau couldn't hit an easy empty net to seal it.

I'm trying to figure out Chicago's signing and use of Brad Richards. They have him on the third line, and the most talented linemate is Bickell. He's just not a bottom six energy player. I think that he would have more value to almost any other team in the league, the way that he's being used.

Disagree strongly! Saad is the most talented on that line, and they had some chemistry going the other night vs. the Flyers.

At this point, however, Richards just seems too plodding to match with Kane/Versteeg on the 2nd line.

Neal and Rinne are owning the 'Hawks tonight.

Preds hold on for the 3-2 win. Neal, Rinne, and Shaw deserve the 3 stars IMO...

Ahh, forgot about Saad. The last Hawks game I watched all the way through, he was on the ice about twice as much as Richards due to special teams. Maybe it's that Richards plodding puck possession game doesn't mesh well with drive to the net linemates. I dunno. I just wonder how he became this incarnation after only a year and a half from being useful.

I spend so much time not understanding new acronyms, that I couldn't figure out what wyf stood for. Why does your Wobbly Yapping Fish have a knee? I'm an idiot.

Worst part of a mobility injury isn't the pain, it's being irritated by the effort it takes to do the little things. Good to hear the replacement went well.

Pacific prime time games in the second period.

Kings lead 1-0 over the Sabres. Another early goal, 36 seconds into the game scored on the power play by Carter.

The Sharks led 2-0 after one period but Johansen has scored for the BJs.

Wow, hearing Oh Canada being played in the US rinks on Thursday was terrific. Checking NHL.com had Boston, Detroit, and St. Paul singing the anthem and a moment of silence was done in LA and Nashville.

The Islanders are playing real well as they hung on to beat the Bruins 3-2 in reg time. Chad Johnson, who played for the Bruins, was in net for the Isles. Detroit wins in OT 4-3 over the Penguins what a comeback and GWG by Abdelkader. Canucks on the road stomp on the Blues 4-1. Raanta is in net for the Bhawks again but takes the loss as the Predators win 3-2 in reg time. The Wild score 2 goals in the 2nd period and beat the Coyotes 2-0. Kuemper gets the SHUTOUT as he stopped all 26 shots. The Kings also win 2-0 over the Sabres as they get both goals on the PP and Quick gets the SHUTOUT with 29 saves. Enroth was awesome in net for the Sabres as he kept it close making 37 saves. The final game was another thriller as the BJs exploded for 3 goals in 5 minutes in the 2nd period to take a 3-2 lead. In the 3rd period, the Sharks came back to take a 4-3 lead but the BJs tied and then with 21 seconds left in reg time, scores the GWG. Great game and an amazing road win for the BJs.
