Default NHL Team Comparative Stats

Question re hockey stats:

If I wanted to compare, say, Flames vs. Rangers team stats, historically, over a period of 20 years - overall wins/losses, wins/losses against each other, standings year over year and similar statistics, what would be the most comprehensive and user-friendly web-site to do this analysis?

Thank you.

For NHL.com you can select a season which go back that far. (select standing and then from there you can select the season). Not to sure off the top of my head about head to head through those years.

You can find all of the games through hockey-reference.com Play Index, but the rest of it might take some digging.

These are good sites for data mining, thank you. I was hoping there is an interactive site, where I could make online data comparisons between two teams (or two players), for example.
