Some super gimmicky stuff on HNIC Pre-Game.
We don't need Kypreos and Strombo on the "ice" to illustrate the fact that the Dman took a bad approach, and we don't need to be taking a puck off of a wall for each team they want to discuss. In fact the screen changed to the Pens before the puck was put in the receptacle, so it's obviously visual gimmick.

Really? I think he's doing pretty decent so far, and will improve with time. He's no Ron McLean, but I don't expect him to be.

John Tavares is incredible to watch. You can tell he's poised to have an outstanding season. It's nice to see he's recovered so well from his Olympic injury.
