All New Sportsnet NHL Set
New images are starting to roll out as Sportsnet introduces their all new crazy millions of dollars set.
Sportsnet unveils new multimillion dollar NHL hockey studio complete with 38 foot wide ultra HD monitor
I'm pretty sure that's the same set as Kuala Lumpur Idol though.

Seems like a really nice set to put Doug MacLean and John Shannon on.

Thanks for reminding me
MacLean is the definition of a blowhard.
Not looking forward to seeing more of him.

that arched set in the first pic looks like the underside of a Calatrava bridge.

Looks slick and modern, the opposite of most things Sportsnet has ever done. Maybe they are turning a corner.

I like the continuation of use of red chairs for Strombo.

I think it's a bit gaudy but at least they're trying to improve. Bad taste with piles of money is still bad taste though.
Also, that NHL + SN logo just doesn't look for very good.

Nice!
On a side note, those commercials with Strombo are awesome! When he pushes that Habs coffee cup towards Kessel, that is just beautiful.
I think he is going to be a fantastic addition

It's a little busy but it looks like much more money and effort put into it than is typical of RSN.

The Kessel one is there after you've watched the Sharp one.

Still don't understand the Strombo hire... Not because I don't like him or anything, it just seems a bit odd to me.
