I'm still relatively new here, and every once & a while I'll stumble across a great thread I never knew existed. Today I saw Aeneas' thread about going to Czech (which was awesome), and in looking into it discovered calgaryboy's thread about coming to Calgary. It was heartwarming seeing how much the community reached out to them to make their time here awesome. Then there's the Wannamaker thread, which 100% pure gold.

Although some of the the Jihads were legendary, in my opinion, our finest hour, and the nicest thing this site did was raise funds to pay for Buddy the dogs surgery and we did it in less than a day I believe. And most donations were made in the names of CP members own dogs.

This is my favourite moment because it epitomizes the fanatical nature of online fan sites and is hilarious.

After that post lt spears melted down and got banned and has since returned several times.

I always thought this thread was a good measuring stick for how fanatical we can be. Impeccable timing, and played perfectly on that fear that we didn't dare entertain.
