Default Bob Mckenzie Interview with Brad Treliving

Since both Bob Mckenzie and Brad Treliving are in Penticton for the young stars tournament, I guess TSN decided to have Treliving on for an interview. Didn't see it posted anywhere, and thought some fellow Cpers might wanna check it out. It's 14 minutes long, so longer than his typical interviews.

Woops. I haven't really journeyed into that thread because usually TSN predictions anger me. I can't delete this thread, so hopefully some people who also haven't looked in the TSN season preview thread find it useful..

ah.. that TSN thread is gunked up with the 1,000th Jankowski potential argument. Best to keep this separate.

Treliving comes off well in the media. Thoughtful and relatively honest with no hyperbole.

I love his media habit; we have "boring" Sean, "trickster" Sam, "eloquent" big rig and "the summerizer" Treliving - he spends a long time thoughtfully constructing his answers to media questions but always uses his last sentence to very quickly summarize the point he's making. He should be well-liked by the grammar and English police on CP.

The Summarizer.

What I found interesting is when Bobby Mac asked him what's the one area you could improve on, Treliving said goal scoring. Tells us that signing Potter and inviting Diaz and Brookbank to camp has solidified the d position to his liking, now he can address goal scoring.

I think someone should run a count on the word "ultimately" in that interview.

To be quite honest, I like it when he says ultimately.

It's better than "At the end of the day"

I am a big believer in using the term ultimately to be quite honest

It ultimately appears as though Bob has had some recent facial "enhancement" work done.

I noticed the same thing when he was back on TSN after the summer. I thought maybe it was because we got a new, larger HDTV...so I'm glad someone else noticed the same thing.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter.
