Flames Young Stars: Battle of Alberta in Penticton. Sept 13, 8:30 PM MT. Stream, Fan960

Free stream available on calgaryflames.com, the Flames app, and the Flames youtube channel.

Fan 960 will also be carrying this game live.
Alternatively you can also check edmontonoilers.com and 630 ched if the Flames feeds don't work for you.

Oilers roster:

More stats and info for the torunament.

Yes I know that Granlund should have more points than that, but it looks like the score sheet dropped an assist on a goal, and gave the assist on the EN to Bennett. Also LOL to the joker who listed Gaudreau at 215lbs

Oilers website is projecting Bennett vs Draisaitl.

Flames pre-game skate will take place at 11:45 AM Calgary time, so we should get exact word on who is playing and the potential lines will be around that time.

update:

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
#Flames lines tonight:
Gaudreau-Bennett-Ferland;
Agostino-Arnold-Carroll;
Klimchuk-Jooris-Padakin;
Hathaway-Elson-Smith

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
#Flames D:
Kanzig-Fram;
Gedig-Kulak;
Culkin-Ramage.
McDonald starts in net. Mancina the backup

Should be a great game. Edmonton's D is quite solid and the Flames forwards are very dynamic. I think it will be a great match up between the teams prospect sets.

Because they are desperate to fill out their rather thin prospect base with some dynamic offensive talent. Unless he earns a spot with the Oilers, I'm fairly confident that Tkachev will return to Russia after Oilers training camp to star in the KHL.

This tournament has been pretty hard on the goalies. Those stats are ugly.

I didn't realize Tkachev was invited to the Oilers camp, and Padakin to the Flames camp. Tkachev is pretty interesting. Small player with a lot of skill and injured throughout most of last season. Seemed to have some chemistry with Barbashev.

I didn't notice that one, just the fact that Gaudreau has added 55 lbs. overnight.

He didn't come to North America until well into the season. The one time I saw him his skills were far more impressive than the bigger Barbashev. A small sample, I know....

Ok that's why he only played only 30 games. I assumed an injury.

Small sample but more games than I saw him play live. I was following Barbashev's highlights prior to the draft (I was really impressed with him) and saw a lot of plays in which Tkachev was involved. That sick move in the Subway Series game against the Canadian team was pretty impressive too. Would love to see how he looks in a full game.

I guess Arnold is a time traveling hockey robot sent back in time to make sure Gaudreau signed here.

So far Ferland is making good on his vow to be the best player at the tournament.

I'm interested in seeing Draisaitl, Yakimov and Tckatchev for the Oil. That's about it. Still hope the Flames lay a beat down on those greasers though.

On the Flames side, I hope to see Padakin out there. And a little line mixing.
