Calgarypuck logo finalists
Hey gang here is the 13 I picked to go forward and vote.
Someone suggested giving each artist a chance to make sure the correct version is the one in the voting, so have a look and lets work out what ever changes are needed.
Once done I'll add the poll to the thread, remember you can choose more than one, and I will take the winner, but also the top two or three into account when making my selection.
To those that weren't picked please accept my sincere thanks for being involved in the process. Everyone pushed everyone to get these logos way beyond my expectations.

That is going to be an incredibly difficult choice. Amazed at the quality and range of ideas. I am going to take my time before I vote and make sure I get it right!
Great work guys....though I have zero artistic ability so I might be easily impressed!

are you going to do this in stages where it's narrowed down? Maybe go down to 5 then 2 or 3 and then pick the winner. I have a few that I really like and if the one I like the most gets eliminated, I could vote for the next best one.
These are all amazing though, good job everyone who participated.

That's what I was wondering, too. Are these shortlisted designs open to color modifications? I'd prefer my grey one for Option B, but I'll leave it up to the master chief's discretion.
EDIT: Actually, my grey one or my flames' colors one are the ones I would prefer over the selected one.

For me its E all the way. Love the puck/speech bubble hybrid. Perfect for a hockey forum.
C would be a strong consideration, but I don't like the clip-art style motion lines behind the puck.

Going with B. Modern, sleek, and captures the site really well. I do like option G, but there is too much text going on to make it my first pick.

Agree, plus it was the first with the speech bubble idea. Hard to go between that and B.
Option G could be a 3rd jersey kind of thing, an alternate. And Option A I think could fit in as well, even just the little flame (imagine the little flame as an ending punctuation to front page stories).
And I like getbak's submissions too that didn't make the cut.

I'd still like to see them all in the same context of what they'd look like at a smaller size at the top of the page. Some of them look good big, but would lose a lot of the detail at a smaller size.
