I still find Taylor Swift adorable, but her music is definitely not for me. I do think she does better with pure pop as opposed to country though. She should stick to this type of music.
... she should also stop whining

She doesn't come off as the brightest bulb in interviews. Not that it matters as long as she can sing moderately well and look good I guess. I understand that it's a generational thing but man today's pop music is so sterile due to most artists being manufactured.

I think she's awesome. I mean sure I listen to thrash metal predominantly, but I'm a huge fan of talent as a whole; and putting everything else aside, Taylor Swift is immensely talented.

Earl Sweatshirt Calls Taylor Swift's New Video 'Inherently Offensive'
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/0...=Entertainment
He accused Swift of "perpetuating black stereotypes." The rapper claims he didn't need to watch the video to know to call it cultural appropriation. Swift's other critics have echoed that sentiment: Jezebel called it a "cringe-worthy mess" and Consequence of Sound asked its readers, Is Taylor Swift's New Video Racist?

Huh? Quick scan through of the video and it seems to mock hip-hop dance, pop&lock/animation/tutting, contemporary dance, ballet, cheerleading, acrobatics, etc. Yeah, it's sorta a mess and does nothing for me as a video or as a song. Not surprised that someone who calls it racist hasn't actually watched the video, where the context it pretty clear.

Wonder if Kanye thinks it's racist.

I swear people will try and find anything to be insulted by these days. The perpetual outrage society needs to take a break on this one.

Sounds like something Avril Lavigne would sing. Not surprising that it was written by the same writers who wrote one of Lavigne's albums

Racist? Not at all.
Offensive? Yes. Its pretty offensive what passes as music these days in the pop world. Just terrible.

Well I gotta hand it to her. That's going to be a huge hit. Prepare to hear it on the radio ad nauseum people.
You know, the girl has talent, she can actually write a little too. It's just such a shame that she chooses such infantile subject matter. I can't wait for her to mature. She could be so much more interesting then.
