Default Gaming mice suggestions

So my beloved Razer Diamondback 3G is finally on it's last legs and I need a replacement, but nothing from Razer's new lineup really looks all that appealing and from what reviews I've read their build quality has really gone down. So what are you currently using? I've heard some good things about the SteelSeries Sensei so that's what I'm currently leaning towards, but open for more suggestions

For years I used Razer mice, and I too had heard their build quality had dropped, and bought a Steelseries mouse.

It worked great, but it just was a bad shape for me, and was brutal for FPS gaming.

Last year I went back to Razer and got a Deathadder 2013, and it's by and far away the best FPS mouse I've ever used.

YMMV.

My G9X is still going strong but if I had to replace it today I'd look at the Proteus.

Still wish I had bought a few extra G9Xs. I love that mouse. I have a real aversion to wireless keyboards and mice.

I keep my G700s wired, it can be both wired or wireless.

I'm also looking at this one, the reviews seem really good. Just wondering how the fit would be, as I hold my mouse with just my fingertips resting on it and not the whole palm. I've avoided the larger gaming mice for that reason

Hmm, never heard of Roccat before but the reviews all seem really good and I really like the simple design

Damn it's hard to choose these days, it wasn't that long ago where the only real choice for high end mice was Logitech or Razer

I had reservations about the G9x but it's honestly the best mouse I've ever used. The thing I like about both of these mice is that you can change the weight of them.

Otherwise I don't think you can't go wrong with something like the G400. I bought an older style G400 15 years ago and that thing was a tank. If I kept it I would bet that it'd still be working.

G500S here, and it's awesome. No complaints to speak of.

The new goggles also do nothing.

I thought the Alienware TactX was basically a re-branded G9X without the interchangeable grips? Someone told me that in a different mouse thread.

That's true. But in addition to not being able to change the grip you also can't customize the weight.

The link above to Memory Express got me browsing other mice - nice to see there is a left handed option out there for people now. It's special order but finally more selection!!

Picked up the Razer Deathadder a few months ago and I'm happy with it.

Not usually one to use all the button combinations on most gaming mice so I went with the MX Performance.

I really wish you could try them out. I can't seem to find a place that doesn't have them locked up/boxed with theft sensors.

This is what I have. When I first got it I got pretty severe hand cramps from it. It's a bit of an awkward shape IMO.
