Default KHL stories with Tyler Moss

http://pmd.fan960.com/audio_on_deman...-Interview.mp3

Its about 35 minutes, but some pretty good stuff from Tyler Moss..... some funny stories, a bit of insight into Russia politics, how money moves, and a little bit of insight into why Russian players are like what they are ("the practise player")...

one of the better interviews I've heard from a while... OT but Tyler Moss has always been a fond memory to me, as his first NHL game was my first NHL live game, and we came back from down 0-3 to beat Pittsburg 6-3. I believe it was Jagr (not Francis?) that he stopped on a breakaway too. Aaron Gavey and Todd Hlusko with 2 goals that game too.

I was at that game to. Not to mention he made the save of his life aswell. I was just visiting from Vancouver and my buddy got us 4th row seats. What a beauty game.

They liked foreign goalies because they suspected the Russian goalies were on the take.

I think that's the most I've ever been entertained by Tyler Moss. He comes across as a pretty interesting and smart guy. There were some great stories in there (even if Pinder's high-school level enthusiasm kept getting in the way). Thanks for sharing.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Heard it live the other day but what stands out for me how fickle the KHL is, relying on companies to pay millions to players at a loss just for the right to exist in a city is a recipe for a league disaster.

Thanks for the link. Very entertaining. Just a reminder no matter how hard the KHL wants to rival the NHL its always going to be a tier two league. So bush league.

That's some good insight, thanks for that. He didn't sound very critical, even after confirming pay struggles, being spied on, no alcohol, mafia, travel, government, etc. It was as if that stuff didn't matter.

I loved his story about practicing the 3 on 0 plays and how that would never happen in hockey

Yeah, because now he has a real job like us regular slobs, and so has a bit of perspective when it comes to being paid MILLIONS of dollars to go to the gym and play hockey.

Bitter much? I think you should find something that you love doing, as opposed to your current job...
