That video is crazy, looks and sounds like a warzone with all those explosions

LOL, that guys says it's really dangerous and I think his other friend was trying to convince him to drive through.

I'm pretty sure those people probably thought China has decided to attack them.

Wow... that is insane!

Condolences to the families of the dead and I hope the injured recovery quickly. I hope there aren't people stuck in collapsed buildings.

So, I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm actually surprised at how "small" the damage is. Obviously the road is totally destroyed, but look at all those buildings sitting right on it. This seems like it could have been so much worse. That gas explosion in California a few years back basically levelled a neighbourhood.

The California gas explosion was a high pressure gas line with lots of volume letting go in a single point. This appears to have been a leak which went into the sewer system and became a distributed explosion. So essentially, it popped the top off and anything directly above it.
