The song really doesn't fit at all.

Better than last year's, though.

The song is a little too much like the LostProhphets song from a few years ago - not a bad song on its own, but just doesn't pump you up.

That said, this video works far better when projected on the ice rather as opposed to watched at 320x240 on a YouTube video. Hopefully that projection equipment wasn't just for last night.

The song is Hey Brother by Avicii. It's a decent opening video through.

Not bad. Second year in a row I've liked the pre-season video better than the regular season though.

First half isn't bad.... Then it goes bad.

God I miss the "there goes my hero" one of the 03/04 cup run will never forget when they had the clip of theo sliding down centre after scoring

I'm just amazed they found a clip of David Jones doing something good.

Glad it wasn't just me. I thought the music sure wasn't 'pump up' music, and I also thought the crowd lost a ton of energy last night at puck drop... just didn't have the same vibe as previous home openers ive been to. Oh well.

More or less, but I wasn't with the video department. I wouldn't be good at these types of videos anyways. I prefer to keep all my highlights unobstructed and basically just for the purpose of archival/cataloging, whereas intros are always very elaborate and flashy.

Also I would insist on using metal music.

I don't know, I'm not even a fan of the Flames and I get pumped up when your videos play. Maybe a little less flash and a little more awesome is what's needed.

Wow, I am thoroughly impressed with the effects on the ice for that. The first part was mind blowing
