21 on the science and geography. At least 5 answers were in Washington DC though so picking the capitol building was within a km of each.
I lost on finding the Marianas trench. I got within 800 km.

Would have been a lot higher if I would have known anything about the Civil War, two questions on that really killed my KM's.
Does it detect where you are and tailor the questions to places close as my quiz was very US centric and would have been much easier for an American and pretty tough, I would imagine, for say a European or somewhat not familiar with the US or US culture.

Unsure how everyone is getting double digits - usually get to about 7 or 8.
Although I guess it depends on how much outside help people are using. One answer was Gangnam District in Korea. I knew that's what I was looking for, but still missed it by 300+km - if I had googled it, then it would have been easy.
