Swag Ideas
Hi all. What are of some the best Swag items you've received or have seen... or would like to receive? We typically do one that is a little more expensive ($30) for Consultants and Tool Push and something a little cheaper ($10- $15) for rig crews. (insert "Weatherford Spice" here)

USB Wristband. Thought it was genius. A USB key that wrap around your wrist like a wristband so that you don't lose it in your bag/truck.
These are some of the "lower end" looking ones. I've seen some metal and leather strap ones as well that would be more "fashionable".

Depending on your companies policy on alcohol use this may be a no go, but I honestly get the most use out of my branded highball glasses like this.
My wife got 2-3 from a job 5 years ago and they are still in our regular rotation. Nice heavy bottoms on em and actually get used quite bit.

I always like getting the kind of stuff you find in the Eddie Bauer cash register line-up.
Universal tools, little flashlights, cool little useful knick knacks.

At 10-15 dollars I would just get a gift card for a Tim Horton's, you aren't going to find anything that anyone would really want or care about, guaranteed most of the stuff mentioned in this thread (USB Wristband) would go straight into a garbage can.

In the past it's been logo'd t shirts, hats, toques, safety glasses etc... Things people can use.

There's these pens that have a stylus and flashlight built in. I thought they were amazing. Great to leave in cars to write stuff down, and you have a flashlight if you need to check anything. I have a few from clients who customized it with their company logo and info.

I think you can get a no name one for cheaper than $15, but I have no idea where to find them.

I once got a Zippo BBQ lighter (brushed aluminum/steel?) that was pretty nice.

I don't think that I have ever seen anyone use anything and safety glasses have to be supplied by the employer regardless if memory serves me correct.

In the past, present, and future, I've been given tons of logo'd shirts, hats, etc, and I have yet to use them for anything other than camping or changing the oil on my truck.
Now, an LED flashlight with a company name? That'll get used. Probably to change oil, but also for other stuff. Like camping.

Buy people I mean the rig hands we give the stuff to, they never have enough work clothes. Anyways I voted for Golf Balls, LED Flashlights and Sweatshirts.

A good hoodie is really likely to be used. Keep the logo reasonable (golfball sized on the breast), and actually buy the decent hoodies with good zippers that fit well and are warm and resilient, and you'll see those things worn for years.
