Looking for quality, reliable Flooring Company to replace all the floors in my house.

It's about 5 years overdue but it's time to finally replace the carpet and linoleum in my house (about 2000 sq.ft.) and we are looking at all options including laminate, hard wood, tile, carpet, etc. I've never had to get this done before so I'm a floor newb. Are there companies that do both hard wood and carpet or do you have to go to carpet companies? My little boys are one of the most destructive forces known to man kind so we are looking for flooring that is somewhat durable but we don't mind paying for quality.

If anyone knows of any professional, reputable companies please let me know as I don't have a lot of patience for the subcontractor clown show horror stories I have heard from some people.

Call Benwood Interiors. They can do carpet, laminate, engineered or hardwood for you. Gregg and his guys did a fantastic job of refinishing our hardwood floors in December. They didn't mind coming back a few times after we noticed some minor imperfections. They were prompt, hard working and we never had a problem with them not showing up when they were supposed to. They probably aren't the cheapest but they will get the job done right.

I believe Bigtime is CP's (un)official flooring guy if I remember correctly. I think he does laminate/hardwood stuff in between watching airplanes, not sure about carpet.

CP's own Flaming_Potato has a company. He installed laminate downstairs in our place last winter, as well as high quality lino in the kitchen. We picked out our own flooring, but he's got a few sources for that as well.

More than reasonable rates, to go along with proper, professional service. Recommended.

Dannburg (ask for Pat) or Contempa (ask for Morley) should do a good job for you. Big, reputable companies; both have been in business for a long time.

Also consider some of the commercial companies. Quite often you can get a better deal from them than from a retail firm.

They re-did my floors on my house I sold last year, and did hardwood installation in one of my bedrooms.. They were on time, reasonably priced, and did an AWESOME job.
