Hartley and him had a 'disagreement' one year. However, you didn't notice Blair Jones getting PP time right away when he got called up this past year? Coaches don't give PP time to players they dislike, especially tweeners like Blair was.

11 goals in 12 games last year in the AHL (plus another 8 goals in 14 playoff games). I guy with skill but just not NHL-calibre skill.

This is probably a Giroux replacement since Giroux is now in trouble with the law. Won't quite be able to replace his scoring and leadership abilities, but he will more than make up for that through hard work and determination.

Giroux pinched a guys butt and I thought no charges were filed? One thing has nothing to do with the other, regardless. Unless he did something a lot more severe that I am unaware of.

Good luck to Jones, he's only 27 could still carve out a career.
