Always liked him before he was a Canuck. He wasn't really there long enough to have too much stink on him. Flames don't need him but hope he gets claimed somewhere I like so I can wish him well again.

That trade though....lmao

that's just awesome. The trades they've made in the past few years are just great. When they trade Horvat are they just going to hold out and trade him for nothing?

Markstrom looks terrible and has easily been passed by Canata. He will not see NHL time this year or anytime soon.

He really needed to take the next step this season.

I think someone will pick him up.

So, Vancouver traded an elite goalie, for a 3/4th line Centre, and the rights too pay $1.4 million dollars in salary to goaltenders who don't play for them.... That's more than they pay Eddie Lack to play for them.

Well played Canucks.

Very rapid decent for a guy largely regarded as the best goalie prospect in the world only 2 years ago. Clearly this is his bid to get starter ice somewhere else but if he clears then is he Sweden bound perhaps?

the good thing is: time will really fly on those AHL bus roads if he's allowed to bring his action figures.

Keep in mind that any team that claims him will need to keep him in the NHL.

Doubt anyone claims him.

HAHA (Nelson) to the Canucks.

He could reasonably still be a good NHL goalie or backup.
