Wouldn't wave to go to a rival in Toronto, but will waive to go to a rival in Buffalo?

What? He rather play for a team in tank mode , than for Toronto that at least has a chance to make playoffs?

I'd rather play for the sabers. Going from one pressure cooker to another is tough, sometimes players want to fade from the spotlight.

Surprising that Gorges would waive, but you have to think it's a decent deal for Buffalo. They are certainly gonna have a great draft with 3 first round picks

Strange decision by Gorges, very strange. Almost like he chose to go there out of spite to both Montreal and Toronto.

I like it. Steady veteran presence on the blueline to help shelter the kids.
Plus we need to add lots of salary.

Good deal for both teams. Stupid for George though to go to a crap team like Buffalo compared to being on a team that is going to be one of the Elite teams in the East.
