I have a feeling this contract will end in a buyout. In the short term its a pretty good deal but 7 years for a guy that wouldn't be top pairing on a lot of good teams isn't great.

Not a terrible contract given some of the ones we've seen. He's only 27 and decent caphit. Overpaid, but not really for a free agent.
