Flames Season Ticket Resale Prices

Hey,

So I'm trying to sell my tickets on TM resale but I notice that the minimum I can keep my price at is $29 per ticket however I see a bunch of other tickets that are listed for $28.16 so their visibility is way higher because of that. Anybody know how to get the price below $29?

Are the seats in the same section? The minimum price depends on the regular price of seats.

Also, if you haven't already tried, try typing the value in rather than using the "slider" on TM.

There was a glitch before the season started that allowed people to post below TM's minimum. So some listings may be that old, and have the lower price.

Also be sure you are looking at identical prices. In the PLs, there are at least 3 price points. Row 1, Rows 2&3, and Rows 4+.

If I remember correctly, the flames account manager will only let you sell at an even dollar figure.

If you list through the TM website itself I think you can adjust down to the penny.

So the one at $28.16 is probably someone who is not a STH and bought it as a one-time purchase and is now trying to resell it.

Is it just me or have ST resale prices been bad this year, other than last weeks BOA.

I'm hoping if they are it knocks out a bunch of STH who have just been holding onto them to make money

I can't imagine there are too many people who sell all their games left at this point, as except for a few sweet spots (first 3 rows black, etc) I dont think that has been profitable for some time.

I doubt the flames share your enthusiasm for STH cancelling, which is probably why they went to auto-renewal for this year.

The big risk for the team is that folks who go to 10-20 games and sell the rest start to find it not worthwhile to have tickets and decide to just buy single games.

I actually just emailed my season ticket rep to cancel for next season.

I've had tickets for the last...5 years? I live in Lethbridge and have an increasingly demanding job and an increasingly sized family, so it's just not worth the hassle to sell/donate a pile of tickets, at a loss half the time, for me to go to a handful of games, even with the "perks".

The resale "market", if you can call it that, outside of the big ticket games, is pathetic. No one will buy your mid-week Wild tickets for the minimum ticket master price, so what's the point of even listing them?

The only winner right now is kidsupfront.

I generally agree with the sentiment here.

It's has been a brutal last few years for resale. My wife and I try to attend about 25-30 home games every year, but this year with my hockey schedule and the Flames schedule conflicting every Tuesday night (thanks NHL schedule makers), and we had a new arrival in our family, we've barely made it to any games so far (4-5 I think).

It has been very painful trying to sell any of the games this year, even some of the big ticket games vs the Oilers and Leafs, etc. The new TicketExchange site sucks, and you can't see the historical data that you used to so that you can set your price appropriately.

Yeah I called my rep yesterday about some other stuff and he straight up asked me if it was hard.
I don't expect a price drop, but I feel a freeze might be in order.

I haven't read the details on the auto renewal. If you pay monthly does it just start up again in March for next season?

Next to impossible to resell for a decent amount. I am selling my tickets at half my cost most of the time.

It should. Whatever your settings were for last year should be carried forward this.

This is one of the reasons I called yesterday.
Yes your settings stay from the prior year, so if you have/want a different set-up call to make sure they enter any CC/payment date info correctly.

They told me an invoice will be sent late Feb/early March with next year's renewal. You get auto charged on March 15th if you are a monthly like me.

I asked when I would have to cancel if I wanted and (take it with a grain of salt) you could go all the way to August then decide you are out and get a full refund.
