Well guess we can't troll Desjardins as easily as Torts, so no line brawl.

Gaudreau to score 2G in his first two games against the Canucks.

I hope the Canucks are never in the playoffs next year for a single day. Which means we need to win that game.

I hate canuck games and generally give those tickets away so that I don't push a canuck fan over the railing. But I love home openers...

I'll probably go. The canucks crash and burn last year will hopefully reduced the number of idiot canuck fans in attendance.

Yup. Nothing worse from a fan perspective than putting up with canucks fans. So what should be an exciting opening game for flames' fans is essentially ruined. I wish all canucks games would be mid week at 11 am.

that probably the best scenario. Flames sth will probably be less likely to give those tickets up being the home opener. Although with the season the Canucks had I don't expect the Canucks bandwagon to be as full.

This game will be nationally televised on Sportsnet Pacific, West, Ontario, and East as part of a doubleheader.

No, Sportsnet West and Pacific will cut to this game at its start. If you want to watch the end of the Leafs game, call your cable provider and purchase the package that gets you all RSN regional channels.

I do as a puck collector. Most of the opening night collectible pucks are either Coilers or Nucks. Recent exceptions being Flyers and Pens.

I like this.

Opening night should be against a rival.
