Finally made a move to improve my center situation.

To St Louis

Peter Budaj
Aaron Ness
2014 4th rounder.

I like Budaj but didn't like his cap hit for a backup goalie that didn't see many games last year. I like Ness but have enough offensive defense prospects plus prefer getting the help now. Swapping those for a guy I'm pretty high on is good for this team, especially since I needed help down the middle

Ott makes too much money for my blood. Added a prospect in a position of need and filled a hole on the roster as well.

that's why I didn't make an offer when I saw that you put him on the block. 5m for Ott is nuts ... but that's what happens when UFA frenzy gets a bit crazy I guess

deal looks solid for both sides, I like it. Slight edge to STL because I like Ness.
