The Jackets and Flyers made a trade on Monday that sees a familiar face heading back to Columbus + $2.5mill. CPHL playoff warrior Rick Nash has finally come home.
"With Bergeron at C, we wanted a good winger to compliment him and with Nash's track record in the playoffs, we think he is a good fit."
Heading to Philly is Chris Stewart, 11th overall in 2014 and a 2016 2nd.
"Chris Stewart is a hot and cold kinda guy, a poor man's Nash if you will. However, we felt that picking up a guy like Nash was worth it because we want to compete and we want to win games. Nash will help us win, Chris Stewart not so much."
