Strange retread hire. Thought he's done a terrible job recently in turning the Hurricanes into a flawed, mediocre team.

I'm guessing it was himself. I'm guessing the thought of being the GM of crosbys team was too much for Pierre to hand and "relieved himself" during the interview.

Oddly I would have picked McGuire over Rutherford . At least in theory McGuire knows what a make up of a team should look like for a chance at Cup. Granted i would pick neither.

I think I would have enjoyed watching Pierre the Monster run that team and "build something special". Too bad.
