Do you mean his sophomore slump when he hit almost 60 points last season (59)? Holy crap, I had no idea he scored 23 goals and hit those points totals. That's a killer deal if he can duplicate those numbers consistently for the foreseeable future.

Tampa has done a great job in finding gems outside of the 1st round, including late round and undrafted prospects. They must have some decent scouts working down there.

No, I am not referring to his first full-time NHL season, during which he was Calder eligible and had spectacular and unexpected success, which has already passed, when I use the future tense to talk about the possibility that he will have a sophomore slump.

I am talking about a different thing.

He also had passed through two drafts where he was eligible to be taken. So essentially he was taken 629 of 632 players.
