Phoenix and Minnesota swap Russians

Ovechkin was simply not working out in Phoenix, finishing the season with only 55 points. To get the guy we wanted, Phoenix GM sim was willing to pay.

This deal gets Phoenix the guy he wanted in Malkin as well as a personal favourite in Marchand. Marchand should add some sandpaper to this team. We may have overpaid but preferred these two players to what we had and would have drafted in pick 13. We will also save a contract year on Malkin as he does not need a 3 year yet

Good deal all around, really comes down to personal bias to which side one would prefer... it could easily be stated a landslide win for both GM's and that really breaks down to a good deal

I like Malkin better irl, but I'm not sure it really makes a difference in the sim, both are maxed.

I expect another weird year for the Wild. (not so much this year, but last year) Too much star power, and zero chemistry.

Has anyone had Ovie and Sid on the same team yet? How'd that work out?
