Celebrated Square Root Day

I'm ready to go to sleep but I half feel like I'm going to hear windows start to shatter.

Fantastic. I'm jumping in the car to find some high ground to watch this. 3 year old is scared as hell, but I love it

Wow. I'm in the NW and haven't seen much for lighting, just a little thunder and a bit of rain. Starting to taper off to nothing now.
Was disappointed how weak the storm was. Apparently I'm just in the wrong quadrant.

The thunder has an eerie sound to it. It lasts for so long and sounds kind of echoey like when they try to make it seem extra scary in movies.

I'm in Signal Hill and enjoyed every second of it but it was tame compared to what I became used to growing up. In Medicine Hat thunderstorms are spectacular. Here they are an occasional pleasure. I enjoyed the brief thunder and lightning though.

Our cul-de-sac looks like a lake with waves and ripples. I've never seen such constant thunder and lightning before.
