I know it's only a short video, but Virtanen seems like a very likeable guy. Good attitude/humour.

I'm aware of at least two things Burke hates:

1) Wearing ties
2) Cutting his hair

Virtanen has a good personality, the opposite of Phil Kessell's draft interview.

I wonder why they ask them who won the cups the last 3 years.

Maybe to see how passionate he is about hockey. Is he doing this because he is good at it or because he loves the game (or obviously both). Probably also a bit of a change up question.

Pretty basic question to see if you follow the NHL I would guess.

Man... Treliving seems like a bit of a intense dude in that video.

Im suprised there are that many guys in the room. I thought maybe Treliving, Burke, Conroy and maybe Button would be in there but it seems like there were 6-10 guys in there for the Flames.

I would have loved to have Virtanen when we were in like 6/7/8th, but being the top 4 obviously has better choices. Looks like a nice kid though.

I think last year some players were saying some teams had the most intense scenarios going on in their interviews.trying to get them out of their element, break the agent training so to speak. It's a war room. Im actually a bit surprised we didnt see Hartley in there.

This made me think of the recent Duhatschek article where they talk about Doughty's interview at the combine.

Quote:
This was the scene: Lombardi sitting at a desk, Doughty in a chair facing him, and in the back of the room, the rest of the team’s front office and scouting staff, including Jack Ferreira, special adviser to the GM. Lombardi asked Doughty to complete his list of four ways to categorize Wayne Gretzky. Lombardi gave him the first three – a player, a star and a superstar – and wanted him to name the fourth. Doughty tried “icon,” then “champion.” Nope, wrong.

Like a game-show contestant without a lifeline, Doughty seemed stuck.
Seriously weird interview question if you ask me.

I was very impressed by Virtanen....seemed very articulate and genuine.

He looked like he had some good sized pipes on him as well.

The Finns always impress me though.

Why doesn't Burke just leave his tie home if he's not going to do it up? LOL

It would have been funnier if Virtanen went in with his tie undone as well.

If Virtanen gets drafted by the Canucks it'll suck to see such a nice personality go to waste
