Default Custom ROM suggestions

Hey CP, does anyone have any suggestions for a good stable custom ROM for a Galaxy Nexus. I'm using CyanogenMod right now but it has started getting glitchy on me since I updated it a couple of days ago. I was really liking CM but after the update it had started freezing and then going back to the lock screen on me. Just wanting a stable ROM. Thanks.

For cuztom roms nothing really gets more stable than CM. If you just want stable use the M release rather than nightlies.

Was always a big fan of Slim and I'm currently running Omni on my old Nexus. Seems OK but I just mess with it every now and then, not my main phone.

I run CM 11 stable releases and it isn't perfect but it is better than anything else I have tried.

CM tends to be the best, more polished than the rest but they were also the first to do this and have been at it awhile. I have never had an issue running nightlies and think CM is better than stock Android. It lacks some of the flashier customizations but that kind of stuff is no big deal.

Yeah, that's what I figured . I'm on CM 11 M6. I just updated to it a few days ago and I'm having a bunch of problems with it. Is it possible to revert back to the M5 version. That one was working great for me.
This is my first time messing around with custom roms so thanks for the help.

Just re-download M5 and flash again, no biggie. Get Titanium Backup and make nandroid every now and then, always have a backup.

Sounds like you might need to do a reset but try M5 first.
