Default Speech therapy for kids - Calgary

Any recommendations for speech therapists in Calgary? I have a nine year old who is still struggling with forming her R's when she talks. Also, if anyone has any exercises or tips that they have found useful for their kids, please let me know.

Um...not lately but I'd recommend asking the Children's Hospital.

When I was young I had a friend with a stutter and he did speech therapy there for years.

They could probably point you in the right direction or provide resources?

https://leadfoundation.ca/about-us/meet-our-team/

This place was great for us. They would actually send out team members to work with our son at Daycare/Pre-school.

My oldest was born with a Profound Speech delay (4th percentile) and they did absolute wonders for him. Highly, highly recommended.

Alright. That also sounds good.

Came to post the same.... Lead worked with our daughter through preschool and were fantastic. Everything was arranged through the preschool, so I'm not sure how it works to contact / work with them directly, but definitely worth contacting them.

Lead Foundation is great. Through our youngest's pre-school, they provided once a week speech therapy for him and greatly helped him correct some of his speech development issues. They made it super fun and he was always so excited to see her every week. (thinks it was via PUF funding). They also have events they host and what not throughout the year for families, such as family movies at the theatre, and other stuff.

My sister-in-law works as a teacher at one of the speech development schools (can't recall which one), but I believe it's for younger children (~5 years old). I'm sure she will have some advice. I'll try to remember to reach out to her and ask. DM me if I don't update my post if I forget and I'll find out.
