Scratch LA's Mike Futa as a candidate for any vacant NHL GM jobs, including VAN. Futa has a new deal/promotion to remain with the Kings.

Shows how much trust Lombardi has in the man. Good for LA, bad for the other 29 teams. I'm sure he got serious consideration for a GM job, but felt happy in LA.

Sounds like Lombardi is grooming his replacement once the Kings adopt the new management structure teams are taking to these days.

I think Futa is head of scouting but who is LAs AGM? I mean who replaced Hextall?
