Default TSN.ca videos no longer available to all

Not sure if this belongs here, but tried watching the playoff highlights for the epic 3 game sevens wednesday after work, only to find I now have to subscribe to Bell or Rogers TV in order to see highlights. I still pay for TSN even though I am with Shaw. Why the hell wouldn't I be allowed to watch?

What's the deal? The only reason I go to their website is to see sports highlights and I am assuming the same for most people. Guess they are trying to alienate as many people as they can before they lose NHL hockey for good.

Guess this website is no longer going to remain bookmarked on my browser.

Mod please delete if in wrong thread. Thought it applied to hockey

Nhl.com gives you the full highlights, or the Gamecenter app. Can't beat it.

Well, it works if you disable adblocker.

Like strykersteve said nhl.com is the place to go.

TSN is horrible for highlights. they show about 2 goals in a game and nothing else. Their highlights have been weak for years now.

Adblock will find a workaround. That guy is genius.

Screw TSN.

TSN's website has always been trash, have they updated the format of it in the last 7 or so years? Not that I can remember, and it sure looks outdated. This is just another reason to not go there.

A sign of things to come. SN will likely be doing much worse now that they have full control of Canadian hockey.

I also found this last night when I tried to watch the highlights, but I'm in Oz so I thought it was my location.

I tried to change my location to Canada with the Hola plugin for Chrome, but that didn't do anything. I have a Gamecenter subscription so I just watched them there.

I will try to diable AdBlocker tonight and see if that works.

I'm with Bell and couldn't get the TSN streaming to work even when signed in. I thought it might be Firefox, so instead of castrating Firefox's add-ons, I just use IE for the streaming.

It looks as though Bell is trying to get around adblocker on all its sites. I tried to watch shows on CTV.ca too and it doesn't work without disabling adblocker.

Guys, stop freaking out.

TSN hasn't locked their videos. You can't see them because they've disabled the video player to load when AdBlock is engaged.

If you add this code to your filter, you'll be able to see the videos again while having AdBlock turned on.
