Hockey Marathon for Kids

I don't know if anyone has been following this story, I tried searching for a thread and couldn't find one. A group of guys have been playing hockey for the last 10 days in Chestermere in order to raise $1.5 million for cancer ward at the Alberta Children's Hospital and to make the Guinness Book of World Records for longest hockey game ever played. They finish up tonight at 6 pm but are $300,000 away from their fundraising goal. I thought maybe the fine people at Calgary Puck might want to donate some money to their cause!

I believe the current score is Team Cure - 3970 up on Team Hope - 3700 with 4 hours remaining!

all team hope needs to do is score 1 goal per minute for the next 4 hours and they are right back in this thing. if the game is tied do they go to ot to settle it?

as an aside, i love playing hockey, but, wow, i don't think i could do it for 10 days

I was there on Monday..Put a couple bids on the silent auction and dropped some money in their piggy bank..I really hope they reach their goal.
