Places for Construction Junk/Old Materials?

Hi guys, where are some places to get some cheap construction materials and junk? I don't need brand new things at Home Depot prices but I'm interested in any kind of materials from tiling to piping to sheet metal to cinder blocks to sideboards, basically anything.

I visit thrift stores and Habitat for Humanity often and the latter is great for this sort of thing. I was wondering if there are any other places in the city? I only know of junk/scrap yards for car parts but not for general materials, etc. (besides Kijiji).

What do you need? My garage seems like a decent place to start. Need some denshield drywall off cuts by chance?
