Great news!
Possibly better for development than the AHL playoffs. Makes the one-game signing make more sense to me.

perfect, more Gaudreau time on the ice against elite competetion. I've never been this intent to follow the world championships before.

As a Flames' fan, this is going to be a much more interesting tourney this year (though I always enjoy them anyways - just so much more so with Gaudreau, Monahan, Backlund and Hudler).

Obviously in jest. 
Grats to the kid! He's going to make waves. Glad he gets to keep playing, and especially against older NHL'ers. The matchup of Monahan vs Gaudreau is going to be an exciting one.
